Prager H1: Sarah Palin introduced herself to the American people last night. She gave a remarkable speech. Content and delivery were superb, but there was something more. Prager H3: Dennis talks to NY Times columnist, David Brooks. Once an Obama fan, Brooks has been disappointed. Brooks thought Obama was post-modern politician, but he turns out to be a garden-variety Democrat…. Sarah Palin's speech will be heard by more people than any VP candidate in history. That's the positive side of all this media madness. If she does well, she may turn these attacks around.

Prager H1: Dennis talks to Norm Coleman, Minnesota Senator, about his race against comedian Al Franken… Coleman makes an excellent point in support of Sarah Palin: great speeches don't pick up the garbage. As a mayor and governor, Sarah Palin has had to make all sorts of executive decisions and been held accountable for them; not so, for Barack Obama. Dennis talks to former Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert… Dennis talks to Mike Cox, attorney general of Michigan and one of the future stars of the Republican Party.

Prager H2: The Left says "we know nothing about Sarah Palin, but we don't like her." Shouldn't they at least be agnostic? But they're not. Why? Because she's conservative and she's a woman, an anathema to the Left… Dennis talks to Michigan congressman, Tim Walberg.

Prager H2: Dennis talks to Congresswoman Mary Fallin of Oklahoma… Dennis also talks to renowned poltical commentator and columnist, Tony Blankley, about how Palin is playing out politically.

Prager H1: Dennis comments on the controversy surrounding Sarah Palin and her daughter's pregnancy. How can the Democrats make an issue out of this when Barack Obama's mother had him when she was 18? If she'd had an abortion, there'd be no Barack Obama…. Dennis talks to Rick Santorum, senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and former Senator from Pennsylvania.

Prager H1: Only one problem: there is no Republican Convention, at least not today. It's been cancelled because of Hurricane Gustav. John McCain has said we have to put the country first. Dennis supports this decision, but laments that we have to come place where we have to change the schedule of a major political event because of a big storm.

Prager H2: John McCain makes a surprise choice for his VP, Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska. It's a high risk pick given her age and experience, but high risk can pay high rewards… Dennis talks to Hugh Hewitt, his fellow talk show host, political commentator, and good friend, about the Palin pick.

Prager H3: Dennis talks to Dr. James Dobson, founder and president of Focus on the Family, about the Sarah Palin pick. Dobson had said he wouldn't vote for McCain, but now he tells Dennis that, in part because of the choice of Palin, he's changed his mind… Dennis was at Invesco Field last night with 84,000 Democrats.
